Kefir: the king of probiotics

This drink, very similar in appearance to whipped yogurt, is a fermented beverage of Caucasian origin. Ct contains even more probiotics than yogurt: about 30 different microorganisms which makes it an ally of our immune system.

Where does it come from?
Kefir grains are formed by cultures of yeast and lactic bacteria, they are white in color and their appearance may remind us of cauliflower. Kefir contains lactic acid bacteria that convert lactose into lactic acid, in addition to enzymes that break down lactose. This means that kefir is fully recommended for lactose intolerant people..

250 cl of kefir (goat or cow) 1 banana 3 strawberries Nuts to taste Reserve 1/4 of the banana, one strawberry and the nuts. Beat the rest of the banana, the 2 strawberries and the kefir in a blender for 1 minute. Place in a bowl and add slices of the leftover banana, the strawberry and the nuts of your choice.
