What is an exfoliating mask?

An exfoliating mask is a mask that helps to remove the most superficial cells of your skin.

Cells that are actually already dead and lie flat on the skin, like a "wall", forming part of the skin's barrier function, to protect us from various factors. Any mask that indicates that it is exfoliating, for example, those containing alpha hydroxy acids, is ideal for exfoliating by removing these dead cells that "clog" our skin and give it a duller tone.

Wrinkle mask

Keep in mind that to avoid and to improve your wrinkles the first thing to take into account is the correct hydration of the skin.

Skin hydration is a phenomenon that occurs, on the one hand, in the most superficial layer of the skin, called the epidermis, and also at a deeper level, in the dermis.

The passage of time and natural aging in our skin is inevitable, but if you take good care of your skin, you can slow down and improve some of the typical features of aging, such as wrinkles.

To do this you must make sure you always keep it well hydrated.

Masks, as we have already mentioned, often have a higher concentration of active ingredients, therefore, they are ideal for dehydration and to treat wrinkles.

Look for those containing hyaluronic acid, squalene, vegetable oils, vitamin E, vitamin C, ceramides, beta-glucans, growth factorsetc., all of them with great moisturizing power.

In case your acne is grade 1 or 2, mild acne, non-inflammatory, you could look for exfoliating masksfor example with alpha hydroxy acids, salicylic acid, retinol, azelaic acid.

Mask for dark circles under the eyes (eye contour)

Dark circles under the eyes in general are quite difficult to treat, especially because there is a strong hereditary factor that triggers them.

If you are one of those who struggles with them, we advise you to look for decongestive masksin case your problem is the bags, or whiteningif your eye contour is darker than the rest of your skin. This type of mask, by whitening the area, unifies the tone and reduces the dark circles effect.

For example, by applying Whitening Care Mask can improve the tone of your eye contour, thanks to the depigmenting active ingredients it contains.
