All the benefits of this superfood come to Spain from YUKI Matcha, the pure and authentic gourmet matcha from the Japanese region of Uji. In recent months there has been a lot of talk about matcha tea, a type of green tea that has multiple properties and is especially recommended for those who in their daily lives have high levels of demand in both physical and mental activity.

What is Matcha tea?

Matcha is a type of powdered green tea whose production process gives it a higher concentration of antioxidants and nutrients (One cup of matcha has the antioxidants of 10 cups of green tea bags.). Matcha production began in the Japanese region of Uji and, to this day, it is still produced in an artisanal way.

Benefits of matcha tea:

  • The catechins present in matcha (EGCG) have properties that slow the growth of cancer cells. Matcha is a superfood that prevents cancer.
  • It is the food with the highest concentration of antioxidants.

Yuki Matcha was born from the concerns of the young Spanish entrepreneur Elsa Ramos. After having lived in Japan and worked for 15 years for the main Japanese airline, her passion for tea culture and healthy living is reflected today in this entrepreneurial project.
